Rolo Candy 4th Of July Party Favors

I have been very inspired lately to create some fun things for the 4th.   I thought these party favors were perfect for a 4th of July celebration.  They are really very simple to create.  All the paper used was from my scrap box.  As a scrapbooker, it's a rule to never throw your scraps away.  I keep a box full of scrap paper under my scrapbooking table.   I found some paper that was perfect for this and I had just enough.

What you need:
1 8x11 piece of cardstock
1 scrap piece of printed paper,  this will be used for the decorating.
glue dots
Rolo Candy
wire

On the computer in a word program, type your saying.  I chose Have A BLAST!  Print the saying on the cardstock. Once you have your saying printed, cut your paper so it will wrap around the Rolos.  When cutting make sure you cut the paper so the saying is in the center.  Also make sure you cut the right way otherwise your saying will be horizontal instead of vertical.  Once you have your paper cut, place some glue dots on both edges.  Wrap your cardstock around the Rolos.  Here comes the fun part, the decorating.  I used some star paper and cut the stars out but you can use a star punch.  Cut 3 long pieces of wire.  Place your stars on the wire using glue dots.   Take your wire and slide it down along the inside of the cardstock.  If you would like you can decorate it more.  I also added some stars on the cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed this project.  If you have any questions please let me know.
