How To Create Tile Coasters In 5 Easy Steps

Last weekend I went to a garage sale and found a box of tiles. I love when I can go garage selling and find neat treasures that I will use.  With the price being so good I knew I couldn't pass it up.   I was sure I would be able to create something fun with this find.
I also have a huge box of paper scraps from all my scrapbook pages and other creations.  If you are a scrapbooker, you NEVER throw scraps away.  Eventually they will get used on projects like I'm going to show you now.

What you will need:

4 4x4 Tiles any color
4 Pieces of paper of your choice
Mod Podge
Paint Brush
Felt

Make sure your tiles are cleaned. Wipe with a damp cloth

The first thing you will need to do is cut you paper to fit on the tile.  I cut the paper
to 3 7/8" this will leave some tile still showing.

Next I placed the Mod Podge on the tile.  You don't need a lot just enough to cover tile.

Place your paper down on tile and smooth out.

Then add more Mod Podge on top of the paper to seal it.  Again not a lot just enough to cover paper.

Let dry!

Cut felt to fit just on the bottom of tile.  This will prevent your tile coasters from scratching your tables.

This would be great for photos too.  They make great gifts.

Let me know what you think of this fun easy project and how yours turned out.
