A Magical Good Time

With so many people on summer vacations right now, I thought it would be a perfect time for me to feature a few of my scrapbook layouts from our trip to Disneyland.   Both layouts are super easy to create.  The first layout is our family photo with Mickey Mouse.  I really love how it turned out.  I cut out 2 circles for the ears and then a circle frame for the head.  Then I added our photo to the center.  To embellish the page some more, I added some ribbon around the circle frame with a tag.  On the tag is a mickey silhouette and the year we went.   I also added a rub on at the top of the page, It all started with a mouse.  The word magic is placed in the center of the frame and boy does it have true meaning when you are at Disneyland.

My next layout is our Pirate layout.  I had so much fun creating this layout.   The black cardstock was burned around the edges.  I wanted to give it an authentic look.  The word pirates was cut using my Cricut.  I added twine around the page weaving it around the word pirates and finally ending up at an x on the page.  A pirate flag was added behind a photo and I had enough space for some journaling underneath the photo.
I have added the sizes of the photos so you can create these layouts if you desire.

If you are planning a trip to Disneyland please check out my blog post for some helpful tips. http://angsailsthe7cs.blogspot.com/2014/06/10-tips-that-will-save-you-time-and.html
If you have never been, I hope you will one day get to take your children to experience this truly magical place.
