Are you ready for an adventure? A few years ago our family went on a road trip through Southern Oregon to Northern California. What a great trip it was. We discovered places we had never heard of and some we had. Each week I will show you another place we visited and take you on a journey through an underground world, a fast and furious jet boat excursion, a crooked house with with some mystery, and the famous redwoods.
This was our first stop on our very fun and long road trip. I have lived in Oregon most of my life, and had never been to Crater Lake. It was time we ventured out and saw this great hole in the earth. Crater Lake is located in Southern Oregon about 85 miles from Medford and 65 miles from Klamath Falls. It's one of the 7 wonders of Oregon. The lake has some of the purest water and is the deepest lake in America and one of the deepest on earth. As you step out of the car you can smell the freshness in the air. What a breathtaking place to see. If you are ever in Southern Oregon, I highly recommend visiting this amazing wonder.
